Product Description:
A flavoured, juice style liquid supplement containing protein (whey), carbohydrates (maltodextrin and sucrose), vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Fresubin® Jucy Drink is prescribable on FP10/GP10 for the following indications: short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of patients who are undernourished, patients with proven inflammatory bowel disease, following total gastrectomy, bowel fistulae, dysphagia, CAPD and haemodialysis and disease related malnutrition.

Dosage:
Dosage should be calculated by a clinician or dietitian according to individual requirements. As a guide:
2 x 200ml bottles per day will provide 600kcal, 16g protein and contains the average adult daily requirements for vitamins and trace elements* (Dietary Reference Values for Food, Energy and Nutrients for the UK, DH 1991). * except iron, provides 12.5mg and selenium, provides 62.5μg

Cautions:

• For enteral use only
• Not suitable where enteral nutrition is not permitted
• Not suitable for infants under 1 years of age
• Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition
• Should only be used under medical supervision
• Use with caution in children under 5 years old

Storage:

• Store in a cool place, do not store above 25 degrees
• Once opened, can be stored for up to 24 hours in a refrigerator
