Fresubin 5 kcal Shot is a very high energy nutritional drink for disease related malnutrition, malabsorption states, or other conditions requiring fortification with a high fat supplement (with or without fluid and electrolyte restriction). Fresubin 5 kcal Shot is a fat emulsion with long and medium chain triglycerides and provides 5kcal/ml. Fresubin 5 kcal Shot is available in two flavours - neutral and lemon. Fresubin 5 kcal Shot is Kosher and Halal approved, suitable for vegetarians and vegans and free from gluten, milk, lactose, egg, nut, soya and wheat.

Dosage:

The dosage of Fresubin 5kcal Shot should be calculated by a clinician or dietitian according to individual requirements. As a guide: 3-4 x 30ml per day will provide (450 – 600 kcal in 90-120ml) for supplementary nutrition.

• Not suitable where enteral nutrition is not permitted
